| Miles's Seeds |
Miles: It's been a day since I planted my carrot. I don't see any progress, but the information behind the seed packet says that it'll take about 8 to 12days until the seed germinates. I allowed the seeds to receive maximum solar energy for 12 hours. Until the seed germinates, I'll have to wait patiently and provide everything what my carrot needs, such as solar energy, water, etc. As soon as I see any progress, I'll take pictures and post updates.
Adam: Yesterday, everyone was given their portion of seeds to take home. Last night, I planted the seeds three fourths of an inch under the soil. I watered them and turned the lamp on. After leaving the lamp on all night, I checked the pots of soil. The soil was completely dry, so I added more water and moved the pots away from the lamp. I will try again and again until I find the right place for the pots so that the soil will not dry out so fast. This is the second day of growing and I await the day when the seeds will break the surface.

Ali: Today, I supplied my plants with their daily supplement of water. I soon noticed I had five earthworms in my soil, which is great because they can irrigate the soil. I continued the twelve hour cycle of the lamp being placed on my plant. My soil is very excellent at absorbing the water and supplying it to the seeds. My soil is also very loamy, allowing for a lot of air spaces. I can’t wait until my seeds finally break through the soil. See you tomorrow!
Nikita: I checked on my plants this morning. Nothing had changed. I watered them to keep the soil moist. I also rearranged them so that each cup received an equal amount of light from the lamp. As for now, I am just waiting for the plants to break the surface of the soil!
