| Ali's Growing Plant |
Today our group sacrificed our lunch time to test the nutrients within our soil. Nikita, Adam, Ali, and Miles all tested the soil that Ali had supplied for testing. The results showed that the pH of the soil was 6.0, which is slightly to moderately acidic. The phosphorous test also yielded results that suggested a trace amount of the element. The nitrogen test supplied the information of their being a medium amount of nitrogen in the soil. Since ten drops were placed in the Potassium (Potash) Test, the soil has a high level of potassium in it. Our group will soon approach the issue of how to correct the issues with the soil on Monday. The plants of Adam, Ali, and Miles have already sprouted, with Ali's being the largest. We can't wait to show our consumers the quality of our products. See you tomorrow!
