Ali's Growing Seedlings
Ali: After returning home from school, I rushed to nourish my seeds with another one-half of a cup of their alloted water. Today, our group discussed when we were to sign up for soil testing. Should this resource be available, we will attempt to identify the nutrients and pH of our soil. I highly hope that my soil has a neutral pH, with an adequate amount of nutrients for my seeds to flourish upon. I have also continued to bathe my plants with solar energy from the sun and light and heat from my lamp. Since my last account of costs, I have not purchased any other materials for the growth of my plant. Our group will most likely have another hour-long meeting over this weekend. I am strongly awaiting the sprouting of my seedlings into blossoming carrots. See you tomorrow!

Nikita's Growing Seeds
Nikita: I met with Ali today during lunch and we talked about how our group was going to test our soil in the near future. During the previous day, our group also met during lunch to discuss how we would tackle the issue of illustrating our plants's daily growth. When I arrived home, I watered my plants with the amount of light they require. I also searched my environment to ensure that no seeds had sprouted without my knowledge yet. I hope to go to Coach Wimpey's room with my teammates to compare our soils and test their nutrients. I cannot wait until my seedlings finally sprout. See you later!

Miles: There's still no progress with the seeds. I still await for the seeds to germinate. Other than the carrot seeds, our group made a lot of progress. During lunch period, we decided our role on drawing the parts of the plant. I was chosen to draw the roots and one microscopic picture of a cell which could be located in the biology book. Ali and Nikita decided to check out the soil kit to analyze the soil condition, but the check-out sheet wasn't ready until few days later. We will analyze our soil as soon as we check out the soil kit.

Adam's Seedlings
Adam: Not much has happened lately, the seeds are still germinating. It is day four of growing, and no progress is visible but I'm sure life is teaming under the soil. I plan on taking my soil in for testing one day next week. I really hope the seeds will grow out of the soil soon. Yesterday at lunch our group divided the pictures we need to draw for the project. I am in charge of the seed and leaf drawings. I plan on using the textbook and various websites as references.
