Day Twenty-Three Of Growing

Ali: I have continued growing my plants in a steady and nurturing manner. The tallest leaf now measures in at about eighteen centimeters, as to which I am thoroughly excited. I hope my plant can continue growing at this rate. I have continued studying about carrots and watering my plants daily. I have continued thinking about what I could do to positively influence the environment in which my plants are being nurtured in. See you tomorrow!

My carrots seems like its having a steady grow pace. It grew .3cm

more. I continue to provide my plant half cup of water and solar energy. While I'm continuing to provide what my carrot needs, I decided to research about carrots. A better knowledge about carrots would help me grow the carrot better. If I can any important information about carrots, then I'll post on the blog and share it with my group.

Today i noticed that two of my plants had wilted! I noticed that one's stem got very thin at the base and caused the plant to wilt. This alarmed me so I researched why this happens. I found out that over watering the plants and no air spaces in the soil can cause this problem. I felt my soil and it felt very damp indeed. The website that i checked recommended to not water your plant for a day or two, so that is what i will try. I also poked some holes in the soil to create air spaces. I hope this will help. I am deeply concerned about my plants!
